The International Organization for Migration (IOM) governing bodies are comprised of the Council, which is the highest authority, and the Standing Committee on Programmes and Finance, a sub-committee of the Council. A number of working groups, alongside informal consultations, support the work of the governing bodies.
Within IOM's governing bodies, the Council is the highest authority and determines IOM policies. The Standing Committee on Programmes and Finance is a subcommittee of the Council that examines and review policies, programmes and activities, and meets to discuss administrative, financial and budgetary matters.
